A peach and powder blue country wedding, with sunshine and CHEESE!

I’m lucky enough to have met Ben and Rachel at many many other weddings I’ve been shooting in the past few years, they have a heck of a lot of friends! So I already knew it was going to be amazing, even before they told me any of their plans. In fact, they asked me to be the photographer before even choosing a date! Thank you guys, what a compliment.

The ceremony took place at the local village church, less than a mile from Ben’s family farm near Wem where they created their dream reception. They organised the whole thing from start to finish in a relativity short space of time and it was all hands on deck to help make the day run smoothly, and it truly looked incredible as you will see! I even visited the farm a few days before the event to be greeted by Ben meticulously mowing the grass!

Rachel is a self-confessed cheese-addict, so it was only right that they incorporate her love of the yellow stuff into their wedding somehow, they were on a diary farm after all! They had a cheese wheel tower, and named their tables after after their favourite fromage, complete with a plate of which on each table, with a striking curtain of peach carnations for a table plan. However, nobody was expecting the weather to be QUITE so hot for May, so there was a bit of a melting cheese and collapsing cake catastrophe in the marquee! But incidents like that are the making of a wedding day for me and I love them!

Thank you so so much Mr and Mrs Price for being so gorgeous and brilliant to work with. Can’t wait to see you again at some more of your friends weddings later this year!
